Showreel Footage... Finally

We finally got footage of Lauran an Ripp (two of the dancers from the course) to use for the showreel, we should've got this footage weeks ago, it's very late in the day but i'm gonna start working on it immediately. 

Well now...

The mic we were given to work with worked when we tested it before easter, but when we got it out in the dancehall to do our interviews, it completely stopped working, no audio was picked up by the mic and so we had to rely on the camera mic, which more or less ruined our interview footage, though we tried most of it was un usable because of the sound

Longboards...

....as it turns out, are pretty good for floor-pan shots. Got some good, dynamic pans by placing the camera on the board (with some padding between to minimize shake) and slowly moving it across the floor.

Over Easter...

Me and as many of the team as possible will be coming in over easter to film one of the classes as they work on a piece. Hopefully we will get footage for interviews, the showreel and some documentary footage
