Crash Bang Wallop...

...is the other half of the 'Time Based Media' unit, it involves producing a very short film (15-20 seconds) that will 'convey a fast and stimulating experience.'

When video editing in the past i have always found particular enjoyment in making fast rhythmic cuts in front of hectic sounding songs, so that the video dances with the audio nicely and dramatically.  The brief for this assignment also says ''Create 15-20 seconds of video with no less than 30 edits, placing an emphasis on abrupt editing that makes it look as action packed as possible.' So with this in mind i think i will take a fast, choppy, electronic song and shoot film that involves someone dancing and jumping around, i think i might be able to make that look quite good or at least seem quite fun.

The song i am thinking of using is here (the chunk i will use will probably be from 1:16 to about 1:26) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaIZ0mUJzr0
I think this will work particularly well as the individual beats in this sound are hugely pronounced and decent cuts will look really nice with them.
